Management

Compliance with laws and regulations, whether external or internal, is responsibility of the top management, managers and all employees at all levels of the organization.

In BB, decisions at any level of the company are taken under collective decision-making process (except in situations where a minimum organizational structure does not allow it).

In order to involve all executives in defining strategies and approving proposals for Banco do Brasil’s different businesses, management uses strategic level committees that guarantee agility, quality and safety in decision-making.

Our administrative structure is comprised of the Board of Directors and the Executive Board, and is composed of Brazilians, with evident knowledge, including the best corporate governance practices, compliance, corporate integrity and accountability, experience, moral

good standing, unblemished reputation and technical capacity compatible with the position, observing the requirements imposed by Laws 6,404/76, 13,303/16 and its respective regulatory Decree, other applicable rules, and the Bank’s Appointment and Succession Policy. (Bylaws, article 11).

The requirements, impediments and prohibitions on participation in management bodies are intended to safeguard the interests of the Company, which prevail over any personal interests.. (Bylaws, articles 11, 13 14 and 24).
